The Treasure Coast Rare Fruit Club would like to thank:
Trees N More Nursery in Palm City, who provides us booth space at local gardening events and hosts many of our grafting sessions and annual BBQ. Trees N More is a grass roots family establishment, working hard to give you the best rare and tropical fruits of South Florida. Trees N More prides themselves in the top varieties of fruits for the home and professional gardener.
Port St. Lucie Botanical Garden, who have allowed us to be part of their gardening family and welcomed us to use their facility for our meetings going forward. One project we hope to participate in is to plan and create a new rare fruit garden to supplement their many other gardens.
University of Florida’s Indian River Research and Education Center, who graciously provided us a meeting location for many years. The IRREC is known internationally for cutting-edge research and a high quality educational program offered to students who commute to the center from a five county region. Bachelor’s degree programs in Microbiology and Cell Science, Environmental Management and Plant Science are available to students with an Associate in Arts degree.
