Grafting onto a stumped mango

Here is Chris Wenzel of Truly Tropical farm in Delray Beach, FL. grafting Orange Sherbet onto an older very tall mango tree. The original tree was growing too tall too quickly, so she decided to start over and create a new top-worked tree. First the tree was cut about 3 feet tall, new shoots were allowed to sprout, then budwood is grafted on. The result will be a smaller, easier to manage mango that will fruit quickly because a full-size root system is already in place.
