FYI: Beachland Elementary is scheduled for a major building project this year. The cafeteria where the club meets along with most of the class rooms and courtyards surrounding it will be demolished starting in June ’16. (Along with decades of fruit trees and rare natives planted by club founders Allan McCarthy and Lee Rathbun.)
