Welcome to the Treasure Coast Rare Fruit Club

We are a mix of amateur dooryard growers and professional horticulturists who love to learn and share our findings and expertise with everyone that will listen. These are times that sustainable gardening is not only a true pleasure but essential. We invite you to join us and be a part of the tri-county experience of growing and harvesting the rare fruits of our area.

The Treasure Coast Rare Fruit Club (TCRFC) was started in 2006.  It is a chapter of the Rare Fruit Council International, Inc. founded in 1955 as a non-profit organization to promote the development and use of tropical fruits in South Florida.
The TCRFC web site was started in 2014. Check the archive to see what we have been doing since then. 10/21/2013 outline by Marco Sillanpāā.
Also, explore the menus. You will find what fruit grows in our area, videos of pruning and grafting, how to plant fruit trees, answers to questions, and links to other rare fruit clubs and major gardens in Florida.

If you want reminders of our activities, follow our web site (click the Follow button on the right of the screen). You will get a copy of any new posts, usually once a month announcing our speaker. Club members and guests receive a monthly announcement of the speaker, and a reminder right before the date of the meeting.
